A Day in Pandan That Changed All of Us
On a bright morning in November 2025, the Diora Foundation and the Unicorn Foundation came together for a mission that went far beyond charity. This wasn’t just a visit — it was a homecoming, a bridge between cultures, and a reminder of how deeply connected we all are when purpose leads the way.
This outreach was a collaboration built on love, community, and people who give more than they take. And this time, something truly special happened — the people behind the giving finally stood together on the ground where it mattered most.
The Team Behind the Mission

This project was made possible by a group of individuals who each carried their own purpose:
Engle – The Quiet Heart Behind the Donations
For years, Engle has been donating silently, never seeking recognition. This was his first time visiting the children and community he has supported in secret. Seeing their smiles brought deep meaning to the quiet generosity he has carried for so long.
Sheiney – Lin-ay It Pandan Winner & Diora Team Member
With grace and humility, Sheiney connected naturally with the children and the community. Her presence showed the young girls of Pandan that beauty, leadership, and service can walk hand in hand.
Lee Margarette – Tourism Student & Diora Volunteer
A passionate tourism student, Lee Margarette joined the mission as part of the Diora team. Her willingness to learn, serve, and contribute represents the rising generation Diora hopes to empower.
Macky Banson – The Soul of the Schools
A retired school teacher with a lifetime dedicated to education, Sir Macky was the foundation of this outreach. He coordinated the schools, prepared the teachers, guided the team through the barangays, and ensured everything was ready. His heart for children made this mission possible.
A Gentle Leadership Behind the Scenes
Every mission needs someone to gather the people, coordinate the logistics, and ensure the support reaches the right hands. Quietly, in the background, the Diora leadership helped organize the outreach, brought the team together, and raising donation for the school.
It wasn’t done for recognition. It was done out of a sincere belief that investing in children, education, and community is the foundation of a stronger future.
This mission was not about one person. It was about a community moving with one purpose.
Acts of Kindness From Local Families
Kindness came from every direction, reminding us that compassion is a language shared by all.
Engle’s Family
Engle’s family played a vital role by helping with transportation and on-the-ground support — especially when the storm-damaged roads made access difficult. Their presence brought stability and strength to the day.

The Family Who Cooked for the Children
Another local family spent their morning preparing food for the kids, offering nourishment, comfort, and joy. Their generosity added a warmth no donation could replace.
Visiting the Schools — Meeting the Future

Inside the classrooms of Tabay Elementary School, we met children whose curiosity and joy filled the entire space. We witnessed their lessons, met their teachers, and felt the hope that lives in every dream written on their notebooks.
We brought:
Sports uniforms
Shoes
Educational support
Food & Drinks
And most importantly: presence, encouragement, and love
The moment the children tried on their sports clothes or held new shoes in their hands, you could feel the shift —They felt seen, valued, and supported.

A Gift for Education — ₱65,000 Donation
A symbolic check of ₱65,000 was handed over to the school on behalf of the Diora Foundation. This contribution reflects our long-term commitment to supporting education, school development, and opportunities for the next generation.
This is just the beginning. More programs, scholarships, and development will follow.
When the Road Broke — Kindness Stepped In

As we were on our way, we discovered that our transportation vehicle couldn’t pass due to storm-damaged roads.
For a moment, we were unsure of how to continue.
But then — without hesitation — local men stepped forward with their motorcycles. They offered help instantly, without being asked, and ensured that everyone could get back safely.
This single moment captured the true spirit of Pandan:
In this community, no one is left behind. Kindness is automatic. Unity is natural.
A Community Connected by Purpose

This mission showed what happens when people come together with open hearts:
Foreigners and locals became one team
Volunteers, teachers, and leaders stood side-by-side
Young girls found role models in their own community
Children felt the kindness of people who believe in them
And families worked together to make everything possible
This was not just charity —It was connection. It was unity. It was family.
The Beginning of Something Bigger
Diora Foundation and Unicorn Foundation will continue to:
Support education
Build sustainable community programs
And uplift Pandan step by step
This day was only the first chapter of something lasting, meaningful, and transformative.
Thank You, Pandan

To the teachers.
To the children.
To the parents.
To the motorcycle drivers who helped us.
To Engle’s family.
To the family who cooked for the kids.
To Sir Macky.
To Sheiney.
To Lee Margarette.
And to everyone who welcomed us not as visitors —but as family:
You have become part of our mission, and we are honored to be part of yours.
